Privacy policy
PIXEL CONGA is a puzzle game made by Apptaztic ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email support@apptaztic.com.
The short version
- There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other contact details.
- Your progress stays on your phone. We do not run servers that collect it.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect information such as your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your levels, stars, album, statistics, settings and whether you have bought "Remove ads" on your phone. This information is not sent to us. If Android backup is turned on, Android may include it in your device's backup to your Google account, under Google's control. You can delete it at any time with Settings > Reset progress in the game, or by uninstalling the game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows banner ads on the home screen, full-screen ads between some levels, and optional reward videos that you choose to watch. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, part of Google LLC. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the game may collect and share with Google:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location;
- information about your device, such as model, operating system and language;
- how you interact with ads (for example, views and taps), and diagnostic information about the ads and the SDK.
We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. To learn how Google uses it, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
The game asks Google to show only ads suitable for a teen audience (rated T or lower) and tells Google that it is not directed at children.
Your choices about ads
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy settings in the game.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (usually Settings > Privacy > Ads or Settings > Google > Ads).
- Remove ads. A one-time purchase switches off banner and full-screen ads. Reward videos are always optional and only play when you choose to watch one.
In-app purchases
The only purchase is "Remove ads". It is processed by Google Play under the Google Payments privacy notice. We do not receive your card or payment details; the game only receives a confirmation that the purchase was made, so that it can switch the ads off and restore your purchase on a new phone.
Sharing your results
If you tap Share after a level, the game opens Android's share menu with a short text summary of your result. Nothing is sent unless you pick an app and send it yourself.
Children
PIXEL CONGA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help.
Keeping and deleting information
We do not hold your game data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete; use Reset progress or uninstall the game to remove it from your phone. Information collected by Google for advertising is kept and deleted under Google's policies, and you can manage it from your Google account and your phone's ad settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because we do not hold personal information about you, most requests will concern Google; email us and we will tell you how to proceed.
Security
The game and the services it uses communicate over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game uses information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
